What are Your Favorite Reads?

Answer this week's question, and we'll list your top five answers on Thursday in Patch Picks!

Each week, Needham Patch will highlight editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off, and more in our Thursday feature called Patch Picks

We've looked at great places to watch sporting events, the most romantic restaurants and non-profits making a difference. This week, we want to know from you—our librarians and other enthusiastic readers—what are five great reads for adults and five great reads for children in celebration of National Read Across America Day (March 3)?

Tell us which books you just couldn't put down, or which books your kids begged you to read to them over and over. Librarians, let us know what books keep flying off the shelves at the Needham Public Library

Provide your answers in the comments section below today or by e-mail, and on Thursday, we'll highlight the top five on Patch Picks.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett is one of the best books I read in the past year and my kids (toddlers) love anything Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems.

Someone Knows my Name by Laurence Hill is a wonderful book chronicling the life of a slave woman prior to the Revolutionary War. It was a page turner. On the lighter side, Major Pettigrews Last Stand was wonderful. Gina McClellan

I just finished Cutting for Stone. It was great, and I stayed up in the night reading it. My 4th grader loves The Warrior series of books and my 6th grader loved the Hunger Games. I read it too and it was great. I definitely could not put it down.

Thank you for your input, Patricia! One of my cousins just finished "Cutting for Stone" and also loved it. I haven't heard of "The Warrior" series, but I'll recommend it to him.
