Police Reports: Laptop Stolen from Truck

The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

 

A Hillside Avenue resident reported that someone broke into his truck sometime between 11 p.m. Tuesday, May 29 and 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 30 and took a Dell laptop computer.

Truck Drops Part of Its Load on Bridge
A vehicle transporting insulation on Tuesday, May 29 at around 11:39 a.m. dropped part of its load on the Great Plain Avenue bridge over I-95/Route 128. The driver, a 34-year-old Hyde Park resident, was stopped and detained until his foreign license could be verified. He was released with a verbal warning for having an unsecured load.

Bank Account Fraud Reported
A Coolidge Avenue resident reported some fraudulent activity on his bank statement on Tuesday, May 29. The bank is investigating the matter.

Illegal U-Turn on Great Plain Avenue
A 40-year-old Sharon man was charged with unlicensed operation and an inspection violation after he made an illegal u-turn on Great Plain Avenue near Nehoiden Street on Tuesday, May 29.

Juvenile Injured on Bike
A 14-year-old male was injured on Tuesday, May 29 when the chain fell off his bike while he was riding in the area of Second Avenue. Police responded to the report of a person with unknown injuries at around 3:29 p.m. The individual had minor injuries to his hands, arm and leg. His parents were contacted.

Suspicious Person on Meredith Circle
A Meredith Circle resident reported on Tuesday, May 29 that an unknown male was inquiring about house rental.
