Police Reports: House Break-in on Central Ave.
The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.
A Central Avenue home was broken into last weekend and a computer and jewelry were taken.
The homeowner called police on Sunday, Sept. 23 at 8:20 p.m. to report the incident. The resident said she had been away for the weekend and discovered the break-in upon returning.
Police are investigating.

Bicyclist Struck By Vehicle
A bicyclist was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of Kingbury and Warren streets on Wednesday, Sept. 19. The incident occurred at 7:52 a.m. When officials arrived, the bicyclist was alert and conscious. Needham paramedics transported the individual to the hospital.
Purse Stolen From Employee's Desk
An employee at a First Avenue business reported on Wednesday, Sept. 19 that her purse had been stolen from her desk. The theft had occurred several days before.

Jewelry Stolen From Home
A Moseley Avenue resident reported on Wednesday, Sept. 19 that some jewelry had been stolen from her home.
Motorcyclist Says Vehicle Caused Him To Crash
Police received a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at the intersection of Kendrick Street and Hunting Road. The crash occurred at 5 p.m.
After investigating, police learned that the two vehicles did not actually come into contact with each other; however, the motorcyclist told police that the vehicle had caused him to crash. The motorcyclist had minor injuries.
Intoxicated Man on Chestnut Street
Police were called to a Chestnut Street residence on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 5:40 p.m. for the report of a 42-year-old intoxicated Needham man. The man's family was concerned for his welfare. He was taken into protective custody and transported to the Needham police station.
Driver Leaves Without Paying For Gas
An employee at the Hess gas station, 207 Highland Ave., reported that a driver left without paying for their gas on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at around 5:50 p.m. The matter is under investigation.
