Police Reports: Cash Box Stolen From Fitness Club
The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.
Employees at Koko FitClub, 850 Highland Ave., reported a break-in on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 8:57 a.m. A computer and cash box were missing. Police are investigating.

Driver Backs Into Mailbox
A Parish Road resident told police on Monday, Sept. 17 that she accidentally backed into a mailbox while trying to park on Bridle Trail Road. The owner of the mailbox was notified of the damage.
Resident Gets Suspicious Email From FBI
A Rivard Road resident contacted police on Monday, Sept. 17 after he received an email from the FBI asking for money. The email appeared to be a scam. Police are investigating.
Bicyclist Strikes Rear of Vehicle
Police were called to Highland Avenue and Rosemary Street on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 7:13 p.m. for the report of a bicyclist who struck the rear of a vehicle. The individual was transported to the hospital with a laceration to the head.
Dog Bites Dog at Town Forest
Police received a report on Sunday, Sept. 16 about a dachsund that was bit by another dog while walking with its owner in the Town Forest. The owner of the dachsund took the dog to the vet, where it was treated. The other dog's owner was not identified. Both dogs were unleashed at the time of the incident.
Possible Break-in Reported
A Riverbend Lane resident called police on Saturday, Sept. 15 to report a possible house break-in. The resident had discovered a window open in the basement and dirt on the floor. Nothing was reported missing from the residence. Police are investigating.
Tools Missing From Garage
A High Rock Street resident reported that someone had stolen some mechanic's tools from his garage sometime between Sunday, Sept. 8 and Friday, Sept. 14.
Hit and Run at CVS Parking Lot
Police were called to the CVS at 936 Highland Ave. on Friday, Sept. 14 for the report of a hit and run crash. The incident occurred at about 11:29 p.m. There was minor damage done to the driver's side doors and a piece of molding had been knocked off the vehicle during the collision. The other person's vehicle was not located.
Driver Cited After Hitting Post Office Building
Police were called to the U.S. Post Office at 1150 Great Plain Ave. on Friday, Sept. 14 for the report of a vehicle that had struck part of the building. Police investigated and ultimately cited the driver. Police filed an immediate threat with the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
