Police Log: Bike Stolen from Cemetery
The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.
Needham Police responded to a report of a stolen bike on Great Plain Ave. at 3:21 p.m. on Sept. 7.
The reporting party told police that her son left his bike against a pole on Nehoiden St. by the cemetery early that morning. When he returned, she said, the bike was gone.
The boy told police that the bike was not locked up at the time. He was also unaware of the bike model, but did state that it was black and silver with an oval light on the front. He also said that his bike helmet had been taken from the scene.
Expired Plate Numbers
At 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 8, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on 4th Ave. near 2nd Ave. after they saw a vehicle with expired license plates. The operator, 31-year-old Rodolfo Hernandez of Revere, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered vehicle and possession of a Class A substance without a prescription.
