All aboard! With the holidays coming up, the Polar Express is starting to run on the Cape Cod Central Railroad.
The Conductor, however, is making the rounds at the local YMCA sites around the area, including the Charles River YMCA in Needham. After asking the kids about Chris Van Allsburg's famous book and the 2004 film, he brought out enough cookies for everyone.
For anyone interested in taking a ride on the Polar Express, it departs from Buzzard's Bay and Hyannis. Schedules and ticketing information are available on the Cape Cod Central Railroad site.
