The U10 Needham Union soccer team won their division in the Needham Memorial Day Tournament. The U10 Needham Union won their division on Monday, May 28 in the Needham Memorial Day Soccer Tournament. 

The tournament is one of the oldest and largest in the country, drawing more than 700 teams from all over the northeast, Canada and England.

The Union team, playing up in a U11 division, decisively won their first three games (6-0, 5-1, 14-1) to make it to the semifinals. The semifinals and finals against teams from New Hampshire and Connecticut proved to be very tough, competitive games. In the end, the hometown team dug deep and came up victorious.
