On Friday, April 27 Needham-based Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) hosted a park clean-up as part of the company’s Global Earth Week activities. Volunteers from the local business worked with a representative from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation to pick up trash around Cutler Park close to Route 128/I-95/I-93 in Needham.
The volunteers worked for two hours and cleared up two truckloads of garbage including an old mattress, a television set, a car seat, eight tires, a gas tank, about 100 feet of cable and tons of bottles and trash.
Located at 140 Kendrick St., PTC is one of the world's largest and fastest-growing software companies, according to the company website.
