Despite cloudy skies and some drizzle, Memorial Park was busy on Saturday, Oct. 1, as all ages turned out for the Needham Business Association's 2011 Harvest Fair and Souperbowl.

Under the Souperbowl tent, visitors could pay $5 for a ballot to sample 11 delicious soups served up by local businesses from Avery Crossings to Trader Joe's. The winners—public's choice and judge's choice—will be announced later today.

Along with soup and concessions—the usual festival fare such as hot dogs, cotton candy, sno-cones and popcorn—the Harvest Festival featured children's activities such as face painting, pony rides and a bounce house, information about local businesses and organizations and music and entertainment.
