Pet of the Week: Ruby
This pretty white cat, about 2 years old, is available for adoption through the Neponset Valley Humane Society.
Submitted by Judy Ambrose, Neponset Valley Humane Society
Ruby is a very pretty white cat with double paws and deep amber eyes. She is confident, friendly and social and enjoys meeting new people.
Ruby is an agreeable cat and is comfortable being picked up and held. She likes to be petted and brushed and purrs with contentment. She can also be exceptionally silly and playful. She loves to stalk, run, pounce, tumble, plop and leap into the air with excitement all in an effort to catch up to a string toy, a game which never seems to get old for Ruby. She is very fun and entertaining.
Ruby acts like a rough and tumble kind of cat now, but she was very near death when she was first rescued. She did not do well as a stray with no one to care for her. She has been in an NVHS foster home for 3 months now and is doing great.
Ruby has no interest in going back outside. She is very happy with the comforts and safety of indoors. She does not get along with other cats and will be happiest as the only pet.
We estimate Ruby is about 2 years old.
Please call Neponset Valley Humane Society at 781-769-1990 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a meeting with Ruby.
