Needham's Alexandra Reisman repeats as the champion at the US Classic in Chicago.
Needham's Alexandra Raisman is a champion again. The gymnasts defended her title at the U.S. Classic in Chicago.
After scoring 60.35, Raisman captured the all-around title over Kyla Ross of Gym-Max (59.80) and Kennedy Baker (56.80).
"I'm so happy," Raisman said on www.intlgymnast.com. "I feel really confident – I've been working really hard and I'm glad it paid off."
The domestic event is the final women's qualification competition to the 2012 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, June 7-10, in St. Louis.
Raisman attended Needham High School last year. Now, she is taking classes online during senior year so she can focus on training for the 2012 Olympics in London this summer.
