Needham Rockets in Basketball Tournament Round One

In the 1st round of the D1 South Girls Basketball MIAA Tournament, the #13 Needham Rockets (11-9) took on the #4 Franklin Panthers (16-4) at Franklin High School on February 27, 2013. Needham answered multiple runs from Franklin to hang around all game, but could never fully comeback thanks to 20+ turnovers. Alicia Kutil led the Panthers with 16 points, while Maddy Ganser also had 16 for the Rockets.
