Needham Police Reports: Dog Poop Pushed Through Mail Slot
The following information was supplied by the Needham Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.
A Prince Street resident reported on Aug. 13 at 6:30 p.m. that a person entered her breezeway and put dog poop through her mail slot, and that it landed on the floor of her foyer. The resident reported the same thing happened three times over the weekend.
Following a traffic stop on Aug. 14 at 9:10 a.m. on Dedham Avenue, police arrested two men. Matthew Oliveira, 28, of Swansea, was charged with driving with a revoked license and no inspection sticker. There was also a warrant from Fall River Court for Oliveira, on the same charges. Police also arrested David Conefrey-Daschke, 27, of Taunton, and charged him as a fugitive from justice for warrants out of Florida.
A car was reported as keyed on Aug. 14 at 1:20 p.m. A Toyota Highlander was keyed on the driver's side door at 105 Chapel St.
Items Stolen from Multiple Cars
A Pheasant Road resident reported on Aug. 15 that children's DVDs were taken from an unlocked car overnight. A Rybury Hillway resident also reported on Aug. 15 that an iPhone was stolen from his car overnight. A Mason Road resident also reported that an iPod Touch and two forms of identification were stolen.
Jewelry and Money Stolen
A Carey Road resident reported on Aug. 15 that their home had been broken into and money and jewelry were stolen. Police are investigating.
On Aug. 17, a GPS was reported missing from a car on Lexington Avenue.
