The Black, White & Read All Over Gala will be held on Friday, Sept. 14, from 7-11 p.m. at the Needham Sheraton. Do you belong to a book club or just like to read? You won’t want to miss the opportunity to mingle with Gregory Maguire. Best known for "Wicked," Maguire is also a renowned author of children’s books including several elaborately reimagined takes on classic fairy tales. 

Gather your friends and join us for the evening—enjoy a buffet dinner, dancing and delightful distractions, as well as silent and (always exciting) live auction.  You could win a tour of the White House with Congressman Stephen Lynch, sports tickets and lots of other fun stuff! The Library Foundation of Needham provides funding for Needham Free Public Library programs and services not covered by the town budget. Proceeds from the gala will help build an endowment to benefit the Needham Free Public Library.
