Frank Webb's Bath Center Opens Needham Showroom
Located in the Needham Gateway Shopping Center, the new store offers everything from drawer knobs to high-tech shower systems.
From the experienced plumber to the do-it-yourselfer ready for their first big project, the newly opened Frank Webb’s Bath Center in Needham provides a space for people to get inspired, learn about the latest trends and find everything they need for a bathroom makeover.
One of about 72 shops in New England, the new 10,000 sq. ft showroom is the company’s largest retail showroom space and opened earlier this month in the Needham Gateway Shopping Center, at 100 Highland Ave., in the space formerly occupied by Mattress Giant.
Inside, customers can get a closer look at everything for the bathroom—toilets, showers, tubs and whirlpools, vanities, mirrors, basic hardware and more—as well as a few items for the kitchen. The company is also looking to expand into the appliance business and soon will have kitchen appliances on display at the Needham showroom as well, Showroom Manager Gina Moscaritolo said.
“We work with anyone from builders to designers to architects to homeowners,” Moscaritolo said. “We don’t care if you’re buying one faucet or for seven bathrooms—we’re here for you.”
At Frank Webb’s, customers can try out showerheads, see whirlpool jets in action and explore the variety of options available in the showroom, from classic styles to the more modern.
“We like to educate the consumer so that they can form a relationship with us. We kind of hold their hand throughout the whole process so at the end they’re comfortable with what they’re buying, what they’re putting in their home,” Moscaritolo said. “We talk to them a lot about what kind of project they’re doing—do you just want to upgrade your space, do you want to make it bigger, do you want to just freshen it up a little bit? We try to do whatever they’re looking for—not more, not less. I think that’s what sets us apart.”
The staff at Frank Webb’s do not work on commission, so there’s no pressure on customers to buy more than they need, Moscaritolo said.
“We go over their budget and their price points. None of us work on commission, so we truly want to get them what they’re looking for, what they can afford,” she said.
“I think we bring a lot of value to the project,” she continued. “There’s so much online shopping today, and you can find anything here on the Internet, but we try to sell our value. We’re here to hold your hand through this. At the end, in two years, if something goes wrong, we’re here for you, where the Internet might not be. You don’t know what you’re getting when you buy online.”
Customers can call ahead to schedule a consultation or just show up and walk through the displays and have their questions answered by a Frank Webb’s staff member. Come with an idea in mind—the staff can order just about any style or brand—or show up without a plan and get inspired by some of the setups on display in the showroom.

Frank Webb’s Bath Center Showroom Manager Gina Moscaritolo has a few tips for people looking to freshen up an old bathroom:
1. Know what you want. Decide what you want your project to be—are you just looking to freshen up your bathroom, are you looking to make it bigger or are you looking to gut the entire thing?
2. Create a budget. Know how much you’re willing to spend and what you’d like to get for your money.
3. Pull together ideas. Start looking through magazines. Make an idea book of things that you can bring to the store.
4. Keep it simple. You don’t have to do a complete bathroom overhaul to freshen up the room. For example: Keep the vanity and just change out the hardware.
“It’s amazing with just changing out hardware on a vanity, maybe updating the mirror, changing the paint, adding some new towels to match the season, little things like that can make such a huge difference,” Moscaritolo said.
