1. More rain: We’ll end the week with more showers, mainly after 11:00 a.m. and again in the evening. Temperatures will range from a high around 72 degrees to a low around 62 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
2. Library activities: At the Needham Free Public Library today, children ages 2-5 can drop by at 10:00 a.m. for crafts based around a farm animal theme, while all ages are invited to come watch “Rio” in the community room at 3:30 p.m. Both programs are free, and registration is not required.
3. Friday afternoon movie: Over at the Stephen Palmer Senior Center, they’ll be showing the latest version of “Jane Eyre” at 1:00 p.m. No registration is required.
4. Scout sign-ups: Interested in Girl Scouting? The local Girl Scouts will have a table with information and registration at this year’s Needham Business Association Harvest Fair on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Memorial Park. Be sure to stop by and see what it’s all about.
5. Girl’s Night Out: The Needham Women’s Club’s annual Needham Girl’s Night Out is coming up on Monday, Sept. 26 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. at the Needham VFW. Enjoy cocktails and appetizers, enter a raffle to win one of two $500 gift certificates to Lisa’s boutique and have a nice evening out among new and old friends.
