Music is on today’s menu, along with sports and a thrift shop sale.
- A capella masters Ball in the House will be performing live at Needham High School at 7:30 tonight. Sponsored by the Needham Creative Arts Council, the group has been touring classrooms to discuss musical concepts and will show off their skills for the entire community in this concert.
- A day after opening its doors as part of an open house, Needham Community Council will once again operate its Thrift Shop Sale. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. guests can find clothing, shoes, accessories and some small appliances. Proceeds benefit the Council's many programs, including the Food Pantry.
- Frank Arren and his canine friend, Edy, will be leading a walk in the Presbyterian Church area at 8:30 this morning.
- Kids aged three to five years old, and their caretakers, are invited to "Ready, Set…Move" with Cici Hunt. Hunt's library class is movement based and filled with music for the younger ones. Registration is required.
- Girls' soccer and the volleyball team are in South Weymouth today, boys' soccer will be playing at memorial park and the football team takes on Walpole.
