Five Things You Need to Know Today: November 15

Toxic toys and a flu clinic are among things to know about.

 
  1. Are you concerned about some of the chemicals and other products used to make your children's toys? How can you find safer products? Dr. Sally Edwards will discuss these questions at Temple Beth Shalom tonight as part of the "Toxic Toys to Green Design" discussion.
  2. The Town of Needham Health Department will host a Flu Clinic from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at 500 Dedham Ave. The clinic is intended for those 18 and older and a $5 donation is requested.
  3. An open group discussion will fill the air at the Presbyterian Church as "Tell Me, What is it You Plan to Do With Your One Wild and Precious Life?" is presented at 10 a.m. Group participants will discuss dreams and goals as they pertain to careers
  4. $6 sessions of Duplicate Bridge will be held at Temple Aliyah tonight at 7:15 p.m. Games typically last two or three hours.
  5. The Monday Morning Stars will again meet at the Needham Bowlaway at 9:45 a.m.
