Five Things You Need to Know Today: November 1

Boys’ soccer taking on Framingham is one of the things to know about Needham today.

  1. Tomorrow is Election Day, which means that if you haven't already done so, you will want to check out what the candidates have said and done up to this point in our "Election 2010" section of the site.
  2. Boys' varsity soccer will look to match the girls' recent winning ways when they travel to DeFazio Park to take on Bridgewater-Raynham. The game kicks off at 3:45 p.m.
  3. The Transitions program will be offering "Clearing Space Meditation and Resume Sharing" at 10 a.m. The session will take guests through deep breathing exercises before resumes are shared.
  4. Duplicate bridge games will be held at Temple Aliyah at $6 a session. Lasting two hours each in length, games begin at 7:15 p.m. tonight.
  5. The Monday Morning-Stars will once again meet at the Needham Bowlaway this morning at 9:45 a.m. As always, there are no teams and no commitments.
