  • Where/When: Moseley’s on the Charles, 50 Bridge Street; Mar. 5, 7 p.m.- midnight
  • Why Go: See Needham politicians and other public figures out of their element- on the dance floor! There’s no telling who might make the audience laugh with a cha-cha or dazzle with a tango.

  • Why Go: The Beth Shalom Garden Club and the Needham High School Fine Arts Dept. get together again to present stunning arrays of floral arrangements and artwork.
  • Pricing: Free

  • Where/When: Art Emporium, 32 Chestnut Street; Mar. 5, 2- 4 p.m.
  • Why Go: Like the Art in Bloom show, this event allows residents to take in the great work being composed by a local artist, in this case Sharon native Roulin.

  • Why Go: The author will discuss her book, The Short and Noble Life of Specialist Noah Charles Pierce, a raw account of a young man’s struggle with the Iraq War.
  • Pricing: Free

  • Where/When: Borders, 950 Providence Highway, Dedham; Mar. 5, 2p.m.
  • Why Go: Celebrate reading with games, stories, arts and crafts, and other activities. Kids will also have the chance to submit their very own book reviews.
  • Pricing: Free
