The No. 1-seeded Needham High School boys tennis team and No. 2-seeded girls tennis team both defeated Marshfield 5-0 on Monday, May 4 at home, moving on to play in the MIAA Division 1 South Quarterfinals.

Next, the boys will host Newton North today, Tuesday, June 5, at 1:30 p.m., while the girls will host Falmouth today at 2:30 p.m.

In other post-season news:

• The top-seeded NHS varsity girls lacrosse team faced off against Walpole on Saturday, June 2, winning the match 15-5. They will host the winner of the Natick vs. Franklin matchup on Wednesday, June 6 at Memorial Field.
• Also on Saturday, the No. 6-seeded boys lacrosse defeated Andover, 10-6. They will play at Masconomet on a date and time to be announced.
