BB Gun Fired into Occupied Vehicle
No one was injured in the incident, which occurred Thursday, May 3 on Jenna Circle.
Needham Police are investigating an incident in which a BB gun was shot into an occupied vehicle on Jenna Circle, shattering the window but leaving the occupant uninjured.
The incident occured shortly before 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 3.
"Upon arrival, officers observed the driver’s side large middle window of a minivan was broken, with the shattered pieces of glass on the ground and all over the inside of the vehicle," Needham Police Lt. Chris Baker wrote in a press release. "There was also a metal BB recovered on the ground with the glass."
Police are investigating the incident, which Baker said does not appear to be random.
"We do not believe that the incident was random or that there is any threat to the public," Baker said in the press release. "No one was injured as a result of this incident."
