5. College-age music program: The Plugged In Band Program in Needham is offering a new summer program for musicians 18-22 years old. The 1-1/2-hour evening jam sessions will take place one to two times per week for five weeks. Musicians can also sign up for an optional recording session and performances. Jam sessions will be led by Berklee-trained Plugged In staff. Plugged In created this program for musicians who may be home from college for the summer, are working during the day and may not have a network of local musicians with whom to play. Musicians can sign up and be placed with other similarly aged musicians and/or sign up as a band. For more information, visit www.pluggedinband.org, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 781-956-4281. Deadline to sign up is June 15.
