The Needham Community Farm is kicking off its Community Partnership Initiative today from 3-7 p.m. at the farm site, located at 0 Pine St. near Charles River Street.

“Five Things You Need to Know Today” is a Patch column that provides readers with essential, daily information at a glance.
1. Tour the farm: Business owners, community leaders and local employees are invited to escape the office and tour the Needham Community Farm today between 3 and 7 p.m. The farm is located at 0 Pine St., near the Charles River Street end. The NCF is looking for participants in its Community Partnership Initiative—an opportunity to meet other engaged corporate citizens, learn about the farm and give back to the community. 2. Craft fun: Bring children ages 2-6 to the Needham Free Public Library today at 10:30 a.m. for craft activities. The theme will be “BIG Tall Tales.” No registration required.
3. On Broadway: Longwood Opera’s Summer Concert Series will continue tonight with “More Broadway Melodies” beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church. 4. Rotary Club luncheon: Interested in service and helping out around the community? Join the Rotary Club of Needham. The club holds weekly lunches every Tuesday at noon at the Sheraton Needham Hotel. The gatherings are free to anyone interested in learning more about the club and its membership.
