Wingate at Needham will host the annual Needham Art Association (NAA) Spring Art Sale on Saturday, April 28 from 1-4 p.m. at their skilled nursing facility at 589 Highland Ave., Needham.
The event is open to the public and there is no charge to attend. The sale will feature framed, original artwork of local artists in a variety of mediums, all priced under $150. A percentage of the sales will go toward maintaining the NAA art scholarship for Needham High School students.
“We invite everyone from the community to attend this event and enjoy the visions of talented, local artists,” said Debra Donovan, RN, Regional Community Marketing Director for Wingate Healthcare. “Wingate is pleased to have this opportunity to support the Needham Art Association and their mission in our community,” she added.
The NAA’s mission is to encourage the visual arts and art education in the community through support and enrichment. Membership is open to practicing artists and all lovers of art, and new members are welcomed. Annually, the NAA exhibits over 500 paintings in various town locations and presents a scholarship to a deserving student of Needham High School who intends to pursue art at college.
