A fallen tree and branches in a Greendale Avenue yard on Sunday, Aug. 28 following Tropical Storm Irene. Town officials are asking residents not to leave debris by the side of the road, as there is no collection planned. However, the RTS will be open today for yard waste only.

Needham officials are asking residents not to drag yard brush, waste and debris to the side of the road, especially on sidewalks. There is no townwide curb pickup of trash or debris. It is important that sidewalks remain clear for the opening of Needham Public Schools next week.
Anyone who is concerned about town trees, such as limbs that have fallen or are hanging, should call the Department of Public Works at 781-455-7548.
