Registration for the Needham Park and Recreation Department's 2012 Winter/Spring programs will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 16. 

Effective for this season, Park and Recreation Program brochures will no longer be automatically mailed to every Needham household. Residents may sign up online to receive automatic e-mail notification of brochures availability. To do so, go to www.needhamma.gov/parkandrecreation, click on “Notify Me”, and check off “Recreation Information."

A brochure can also be viewed at right and is posted on the town Web site. 

Information will also be available through the online registration page. Go to www.needhamma.gov, select “For Residents”, then “Park and Recreation Online Registration. This brings you to the online registration page. Click on “Register for Activities” from the left-hand side of the page, and then “Winter/Spring 2012." Choose the heading that interests you and under it you will find detailed descriptions of Winter/Spring programs.

Also, printed versions of the brochure will be available at these town buildings and departments beginning Dec. 14:

• Town Hall (1471 Highland Ave.)
• Park and Recreation Office (PSAB, 500 Dedham Ave.)
• Needham Free Public Library (1139 Highland Ave.)
• Police Department (99 School St.)
• Stephen Palmer Senior Center (83 Pickering St.)
