New Hires at Wingate at Needham

NEEDHAM, MA - Susan Stanton, Administrator at Wingate at Needham Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, is pleased to announce that Emily Felix and Jesica Morales have recently joined the Wingate at Needham team.


Ms. Felix has come on board as the new Assistant Administrator at Wingate at Needham.In this role she assists the Administrator in the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring thatthe residents are receiving quality care in a warm and comfortable environment.


Prior to joining the Needham team, Ms. Felix worked at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston, MA where she completed the Administrator in Training program. Ms. Felix is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Health Management and Policy.


According to Ms. Felix, “I have known that I wanted to work with the elderly from a very young age. I spent a lot of time volunteering and interacting with seniors and recruiting friends and family to do the same. I am grateful that these experiences have led me to a career that allows meto pursue my passion.”


“I’m fortunate that Susan Stanton, our Administrator here at Wingate at Needham, is a great mentor, providing me with guidance and the ability to keep learning from everyday experiences,” she added.


Jesica Morales is the new Activities Director at Wingate at Needham. She is responsible for planning, organizing and directing activity programs and events to promote the well being of residents at the facility. Since coming on board she has initiated several new activities includinga Strong for Life exercise program as well as an art class. Ms. Morales’ experience includes tenyears as a Recreation Therapist at Hebrew Senior Life and two years as the Activity Directorat Golden Living Center-Heathwood. She is a graduate of MassBay Community College and Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and is a certified Activity Director through the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals.
“It’s a very friendly and collaborative environment here at Wingate. Department heads contributeideas for festivities and events, and our Administrator shows how much she cares by celebrating holidays with residents, families and staff,” said Ms. Morales.


“I enjoy my job because I love knowing I’ve made a difference in someone’s life and that meansthe world to me,” she added.
