The Needham Exchange Club recently installed its new president, Bob Parks, who appeared as John Milligan’s guest on the most recent episode of "Exchanging Ideas" on the The Needham Channel.
Parks is a “Triple Eagle,” having graduated from BC High, BC and BC Law School. He was installed as the club president at the Sept. 8 meeting.
The Needham Exchange Club is best known for its Needham Phone Book and the Fourth of July celebration, but it does much more than provide the phonebook, fireworks and parade. It is involved with children, the elderly and the Charles River Center.
True to the adage: “If you want something done, ask a busy person," Exchangites are actively engaged in, and contributing to, virtually all of Needham’s major public and volunteer activities.
The 100 men and women of the Exchange Club enjoy a real camaraderie and share a commitment to giving back to the community. New members are welcome. For an opportunity to check it out by coming to one of its twice-a-month supper meetings as guests of the club, just call any member listed in the front of the Needham Phone Book for an invitation.
