Village Club's Oktoberfest This Weekend
The Needham Village Club invites the community to attend their upcoming Oktoberfest celebration.
Modeled after the 16-day festival held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany—running from late September to the first weekend in October—Needham's Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22 at The Village Club, 83 Morton St. beginning at 3 p.m.
The event will feature kids' activities from 3-6 p.m. including games, prizes and a bouncy house. There will also be a dunk tank—come dunk a Yankees fan!
Refreshments available will include pretzels, German sausages and beer.
Adult activities will begin at 6 p.m. and run until 11 p.m. and will include a wood sawing contest, pie-eating contest, raffles, prizes and music provided by an Oompah Band. Cost is $5 per person.
