Needham High School student wins art scholarship

The Needham Art Association held a Scholarship Award Ceremony as part of the Artists at Work Paintout at the Spring Arts Festival on Needham Common on June 9. After reviewing the work of the Needham High School senior art students, the scholarship committee presented the 2012 NAA Scholarship award to Hanna Behar. The award recognizes artistic achievement for a high school senior who intends to continue an interest in art in college.

Hanna plans to attend Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Art and Biology. Pictured with some of Hannah’s award winning artwork - from left to right:
