A high school student from Norway is receiving a warm welcome from Needham residents.

Marie, from Norway, arrived on Aug. 29 and will be studying in the United States through EF Foundation for Foreign Study’s program. Marie is living with a local host family and will attend Needham High School for the 2012-13 school year.

EF students learn about and participate in American culture while sharing a personal perspective on their country, customs and culture with the Needham community. Currently, there are 12 EF exchange students on their way to the greater Boston area to be a part of this program.
