Needham Bank, with five branches throughout the greater Boston area, was a proud sponsor of the “Rally for Aly,” held Aug. 2 at Needham Town Hall to cheer on Needham resident and Olympic athlete Aly Raisman.

More than 300 people, including Raisman’s grandparents and great-aunt, gathered in the Power’s Hall Grand Auditorium in Needham Town Hall to watch as the Olympian competed in the Women’s All-Around Gymnastics Final.  

Needham Bank provided refreshments for all guests, adding to the festive nature of the “Rally for Aly.”

In attendance were Needham Board of Selectmen chairman Jerry Wasserman, who provided welcoming remarks, and Assistant Town Manager Chris Coleman.

Needham Bank will also participate in a welcome home celebration for Raisman, the details of which will be announced over the next several days.
