Letter: Community Council Thankful for Local Support
The Needham Community Council would like to take this opportunity to thank all of Needham—its residents, businesses and neighbors—for a myriad of very successful programs this past holiday season.
Thanks to the generosity of the community our many programs, including but not limited to Thanksgiving and Christmas Day dinners, Holiday Gift Bags, Holiday Boutique and food pantry supports, are appreciated by over 850 families and individuals, from all walks of life and all income levels.
The mix of delivering and/or providing food and gifts to Needham residents, as well as coming together to celebrate the holiday season, is made possible because of the generosity of the entire community. This success belongs to all of you who support the programs of the Council during the holiday season and throughout the year. You are our partners in creating a connected community and you support the Council’s motto of "People Helping People."
Please watch for our move into our newly renovated building at 570 Hillside Ave. We will miss our longtime home at 51 Lincoln St. but look forward to the opportunities and services which will be possible because of the increased space and re-design. Moving dates and details will be posted our website. Be sure to come see us in our new home just down the hill from the Needham Free Public Library and Sudbury Farms.
