Please join me in voting for Kim Marie Nicols for School Committee on April 12^th. Voting for Kim Marie is a vote for experience – her B.A. in Education and Masters in Educational Administration, her work experience in the Newton school system, her service as a volunteer at Hillside, and her political involvement in Needham. Kim Marie’s commitment to Needham and its schools is unquestionable.  She has served as the Secretary for the Hillside PTC for 8 years, and developed a Program on Disabilities about hearing loss which she presents every year for the 2^nd graders. Kim Marie is also a school liaison for the Special Education Parent Advisory Council. She’s been an active Town Meeting member since 2003 and has been involved in several of the school overrides.   Kim Marie also has experience in both sides of labor relations, a needed skill since several school union contacts will expire during the next School Committee member’s term. Kim Marie is mindful of the need to balance fiscal responsibility and the costs of maintaining the quality in Needham’s schools.
