• Substance Abuse Educational information, preliminaryassessment for substance abuse and mental health issues, andreferral to counseling and treatment for youth and adults. We are committed to community substance abuse prevention through the Needham Coalition for Youth Substance Abuse Prevention (NCYSAP). • The Needham Public Health Nurses coordinate various assistance programs for eligible families. These programsinclude the Self-Help Program, Salvation Army, Good Neighborand others. We make Safe-T Visits to homebound adults. We provide Mental Health assessments and referral services to Riverside, Interface and Springwell, as well as referrals to REACH Beyond Domestic Violence for those in need of support. We also coordinate with other town disciplines with regards to housing concerns within the community.
