Boston Fashion Week is in full swing and local designers are showcasing their talent at events all across the city.
Individuals still studying design are also getting a chance to showcase their talent, through collaborations like the one between Dependable Cleaners and the Boston School of Fashion Design.

Through October 8, 2012, Dependable Cleaners will open up the windows of its store located at 110 Newbury Street in Boston to design students from the School of Fashion Design, allowing them to showcase their designs.   Four designers have been selected to showcase their work.

“Boston has a thriving design community and the next generation of fashion designers are incredibly talented,” said Christa Hagearty, president and CEO of Dependable Cleaners.  “We are excited to have an opportunity to
showcase the work of students from the School of Fashion Design and support their efforts during Boston Fashion Week.”

The students selected to display their work are:

the exciting medium of fashion."

Meghan Doyle - A third year student, Meghan has dreamt about a career in fashion design since she was a young girl. Her design aesthetic incorporates color, print,
