Deadline Extended for Carter UMC Scholarships

The Carter Memorial United Methodist Church is delighted to offer its Beyond the Patch Scholarship made possible through proceeds from the pumpkin patch that the church organizes each fall.
Three awards in the amount of $500 each will be granted to deserving graduating seniors, Class of 2012, who plan to continue their education in a college or university setting and who demonstrate a sincere desire to serve others.
This is a small way for the people at Carter Memorial United Methodist Church to thank the community for supporting the church's fundraising efforts through the pumpkin sale and to exhibit their commitment to service in the world. There are no residency or church affiliation requirements necessary to apply for these awards.
