Congregational Church Offering April Vacation Week Bible School
Kids can take a walk on the wild side at The Congregational Church of Needham during an April Vacation Week Bible School program from Tuesday, April 17 through Friday, April 20, 8:30 a.m. to non (with an extended day option until 6 p.m). Registration is open now.
This year’s theme is “Kingdom of the Son: A Prayer Safari,” where kids will create safari crafts, play exciting games, participate in meaningful community service and sing upbeat songs.
Kids, ages 3 years old through sixth grade, will embark on a fun-filled journey into the Serengeti—the magnificent grassland region of Tanzania and Kenya, discovering exotic animals and learning Swahili on the way. Children will be divided by age group, and they will explore the Lord’s Prayer and learn how it teaches us that God listens, provides, forgives, protects and rules.
The fee is $15 per day for morning activities from 8:30 a.m. to noon An option to stay for lunch from 12-1 p.m. is available for $5 per day. Also an extended day option for kids to stay until 6 p.m. for supervised childcare is available for an additional $20 per day. Additional children in each family will receive a 50 percent discount. Scholarships are available.
