Community Thanksgiving Dinner Planned

For 30 years, the Needham Rotary Club and Community Council, with help from donations from several town businesses and organizations, have joined together to provide Needham residents with a festive and delicious dinner on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24.

This free dinner is offered to people of all ages who wish to experience community and camaraderie with their fellow neighbors. Needham Rotarians, Community Council members, and other volunteer individuals and community organizations prepare and serve a delicious hot turkey dinner with all the trimmings. All of the food for dinner is donated by Roche Bros., and pies are donated by Wingate at Needham. For entertainment, Douglas Robinson will once again delight all on the piano. Transportation is available for those who need it.  For any Needham resident unable to join in the fun at the Hall, we have a wonderful “take-out” service delivered right to your door.

All are invited to join the festivities on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24 at the Masonic Hall, 1101 Highland Ave. The doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and dinner will be served at 12:00 p.m. The dinner is free, and all are welcome.  If you would like to attend, know someone else who would like to attend, need transportation, or would like more information, call the Needham Community Council at 781-444-2415.
