November marks the official 300th birthday of Needham, and the Needham 300 committee has provided a year filled with celebration of unique events. The culmination of that year will be a Gala Celebration held in the newly renovated Town Hall and Common.
During the gala, the Needham 300 Commemorative Book will be unveiled. This collector’s edition book will have photos from the tercentennial events over the past year and historical articles about Needham.
Individuals and businesses are invited to place an ad in the commemorative book. Information and payment options are available on the Web site at Needham300.org. Or you may contact Ted Ballard at egballard@gmail.com or Carol Stento at carolstento@verizon.net.
The deadline for ad placement is Friday, Sept. 9.
The tercentennial is made possible through generous contributions of Needham businesses and individuals. The Needham 300 Committee accepts no money from the town of Needham for these events. Your contribution is critical to the success of these events. If you’re looking for a sponsorship opportunity, we’re a still accepting a limited number of sponsors for a golf tournament on Monday, Aug. 29.
